This module will focus on preparing the participant’s mind and knowledge to be a good overhead crane operator.
The Operator’s Skill
This segment will expose the participant to correct way of lifting by practicing what they learned.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify applicable legislations in lifting operation under OSHA 1994 and FMA 1967
- Explain what is hazard and how to control them according to hierarchy of controls
- Participant will be able to perform the lifting operation safely and able to respond to unplanned events during the operation
- Participant will be able to use the basic hand signal for crane operation and practice it among their colleagues
- Participant will understand how to check lifting gears according to the basic manufacturer’s guideline
- Participant will be able to calculate the basic capacity calculation for selecting the correct lifting gears and slings

In this training, participants will explore the principles and practices of strategies and Logistics management. In particular, will focus on the logistics and supply chain functions, and related strategies and operations that provide a competitive edge in this context. They will also learn the concepts, techniques and tools that underlie logistics and supply chain management function and operations.
